Abortive journey to Muka Head

As far as i remembered, Muka Head was a nice and beautiful shore you may find in Penang Island (apart from Pulau Betong) covered with immaculate white sands and azure ocean akin to the blue sky on top. Unstoppable by our fervent desire, we had actually made an expedition to the Primeval forest of Penang Island (which was later being classified as the conserved forest of Penang).We set out at the outer ring of the jungle, a small fishing village to be more precise, and there we experienced the most exhilarating morning breeze we ever had. The journey began:

Well, after much trekking, we had reached the midpoint - the USM research area...it was a long stretch of beach and we actually took some rest...

Shells....that was not a clean beach though

We were so excited to reach the Muka Head, but were taken aback when we saw this:


There were no more roads connecting to the Muka Head! Oh my god, all the sandy parts of beach was completely sunk in the ocean....probably due to the torrential rainfalls last night!....too bad....

It came across our mind that we could actually crossing the sea barefootedly, yet we were turned down again when we saw this deadly creature floating on the sea....

A jellyfish sized about a human head!


Do you see that? Still dare enough to dip your foot into the shallow water?

Too bad...just too bad....we decided to make our way back. Better luck next time.

Kaboom!...hehe...it's reaching noon....

Well, that's the abortive journey we had.... just a lesson; don't ever go Muka Head if the day before was a rainy day! hehe........
